Supporting those in Need
When Hurricane Helene hit, we knew we had to do something to help those in need. Having lived through Katrina in 2005 and then another devastating flood in 2016 that came out of nowhere, we have seen firsthand the devastation a natural disaster can cause. Friends came together to create Shelter Kits, which we were able to personally deliver to local shelters. The impact of those kits was something we never forgot.
That experience fueled our passion to give back during times like this. Now, as business owners and parents, we’re teaching our two girls the importance of helping others. They’re actively involved in assembling these Shelter Kits, seeing firsthand the value of generosity and kindness. With the help of volunteers, we’re working to put together 1,000 kits to be delivered to shelters, churches, and organizations housing those displaced by Hurricane Helene.
We invite you to join us in these relief efforts by donating a kit or two. Every contribution helps make a difference for families in need.
Donate a Shelter Kit
Support those affected by Hurricane Helene by donating a shelter kit. Each kit costs just $6 to create and includes essential personal hygiene items for individuals displaced by the storm. These kits will be sent directly to shelters in the hardest-hit areas, helping bring comfort and care to those in need.
Every kit will also include a handwritten note of encouragement to lift the spirits of those facing tough times. If you'd like, you can add your own words of support in the comment section, and we'll include your message in the kits you donate.
Simply select the dollar amount based on the number of kits you'd like to contribute, or choose to give a custom amount. Please note, as a donor, you will not receive the kit—it will be delivered directly to someone in need.
